ABOUT

 

From the cryptic Moai of Rapa Nui to the enduring Winged Victory of Samothrace, the world is strewn with clues about how humans construct meaning. As an Art History major, I intend to follow the leads.

I believe examining the uniquely human instincts and aspirations that have generated art, past and present, is vital to constructing a humane and imaginative framework for the future, especially as digital interfaces increasingly shape our interactions.

 

Activating museums as public spaces where art and community-building intersect is also of special interest. ​​

To that end, I am pursuing an undergraduate degree in art history and look forward to including study abroad in my target language of French or Italian.
